When Is Somerville's Spring Cleanup?
Help make the city one you'll want to spend time outdoors in this season.

SOMERVILLE, MA – The City of Somerville will hold its annual Spring Cleanup and Community Barbecue Saturday, April 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Residents are invited to join ward captains and city officials in each ward to help prepare the city for spring and summer.
Participants will plant flowers, weed open spaces and help clean the community following the winter months. The day will kick off with breakfast and coffee at the Blessing of the Bay Boat House on Shore Drive at 9 a.m. before attendees head out to their wards.
T-shirts and hats will be provided to all participants from 10 a.m. to noon. Residents will reconvene at the Blessing of the Bay Boathouse at 12 for a community BBQ with activities for children and adults including a spring egg hunt, yoga and meditation and interactive activities to learn about the environment.

South St. Farm, 138 South St.
Union Square Plaza, SCATV building, 90 Union Square
WARD 3: Somerville High concourse & trails, meet at City Hall steps, 93 Highland Ave.
Nunziato Field, corner of Vinal Ave. & Summer St.
WARD 4: Blessing of the Bay Boat House, 32 Shore Dr.
WARD 5: CHA parking lot, 114 Central St. between Albion & Vernon St.
WARD 6: Davis Sq., Statue Park (near JP Licks), 4 College Ave.
WARD 7: Dilboy Stadium, meet at tennis courts, 110 Alewife Brook Parkway
