White Christmas In Somerville: 4-Day Weather Forecast

SOMERVILLE, MA – Christmas weekend – Saturday especially – will be among the busiest shopping days of the year, and Mother Nature won't be taking it easy on you. The National Weather Service this week predicted a smattering of inconvenient winter weather through Saturday, followed by a peek of sun before snow Christmas Eve into Christmas morning.

In Somerville, the NWS says there is a 70 percent – or "likely" – chance of snow Monday morning. Here's a look at your four-day weather forecast, via the National Weather Service:

Snow likely, mainly after 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 34. Light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

Friday Night
Snow likely before 8pm, then rain and snow likely between 8pm and 9pm, then rain likely after 9pm. Cloudy, with a low around 31. Light and variable wind becoming east 5 to 9 mph in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Saturday
Rain likely, mainly after 10am. Cloudy, with a high near 37. North wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Saturday Night
Rain likely, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Sunday
Partly sunny, with a high near 41.
