After Wild Weather, Thousands Still Without Power: Patch PM
Plus: Celtics honor locals | Man arrested in biting incident | Health board sidesteps public comment | More

WAYLAND, MA — Welcome to Thursday, and it's been nearly a full 24 hours since a strong storm rushed across the Worcester and MetroWest areas — and many are still recovering from it.
As of Thursday afternoon, thousands of people were still without power, including larges chunks of Wayland, Sherborn, Holliston and Bolton. In Framingham, a coronavirus testing site was shut down all day due to downed limbs at Walsh Middle School. And about 16 roads were closed across Wayland as Eversource crews worked to restore power, and town crews worked to clear debris.
