Are you looking for something to stimulate your mind?
Feed your mind at Lifelong Learning, an Independent Collaborative (LLAIC), a seven-year-old volunteer organization offering low-cost classes and enrichment programs to seniors interested in growing both intellectually and socially. LLAIC traditionally meets in Wayland; but, due to Covid-19, all classes and programs are currently on Zoom. This has allowed us to offer our programming to both local and out-of-town folks who are looking for learning, stimulation, and connections. We are offering over 25 courses as well as a variety of social and interest groups.
What do we offer?

Classes are taught by our knowledgeable volunteer members. Subjects range from opera to mathematics and everything in between, including literature, history, art, and political science.
To help members socialize and meet with people who share their interests, LLAIC offers several affinity groups, from French and Spanish conversation through investment management to books and movies. A monthly Happy Hour offers a chance to converse with fellow members on Zoom.

Are there classes in the winter?
To start 2021, LLAIC has planned an exciting four-week Wintersession program, starting on January 12th for four consecutive Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings. Drop in each week for thoughtful New Yorker short story discussions, lively current events, and a potpourri of stimulating individual presentations.
Regular interest group and club activities will continue during the winter break. Anyone with an active membership is eligible to participate. Additionally, anyone who signs up for spring 2021 semester membership will be eligible to participate in the Wintersession.
How can I sign up?
You can sign up any time for spring semester membership ($45). All members can register for spring courses on or after January 25. Courses range from five weeks ($50) to ten weeks ($100). These programs start on March 2. Information about courses and clear instructions on how to register can be found at www.llaic.org.
