Benefit Concert to Honor Murder Victim Lauren Astley

WAYLAND, MA - A memorial concert will honor Lauren Dunn Astley's five-year Wayland High School graduation anniversary
Astley was killed by her ex-boyfriend only weeks after her graduation in a shocking act of violence.

Proceeds from the concert will go to the Lauren Dunne Astley Memorial Fund.
"Our mission is to promote dynamic educational programs, particularly those in the areas of the development of healthy teen relationships, the arts and community service," the fund wrote on its website.

The concert will feature Diva’s Daughters, trained opera singers who perform folk, bluegrass, and country music. First Parish’s own John McGah will also perform.
The concert will take place on Saturday, June 4 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at First Parish in Wayland, 50 Cochituate Road. Tickets are: $5 for students; $10 for seniors advanced sale, $12 at the door; and $15 for adult advanced sale, $20 at the door.
