Construction On Route 27 In Wayland Moved To Nighttime
Work on Route 27 was too disruptive during the daytime hours. The town has moved it to overnight.
WAYLAND, MA—Drivers, take note.
Beginning on Monday, April 30, the project on Route 27 (Main Street) move to the hours of 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
"The decision to move the hours of construction has been carefully considered weighing on public safety, community activities and quality of life for the Wayland residents," said the announcement from the town. "Over the last few weeks the construction site has created a burden on the community. By switching the project to nights, it is our goal to complete the project in a quicker more efficient manner, hoping to eliminate the negative impact that we have seen."
