WAYLAND, MA—Thunderstorms ripped through Massachusetts on Friday evening, with heavy winds and rain knocking out electricity in a number of areas, and flood warnings issued for much of the region.
Wayland police issued a warning to avoid Route 27 and 30, as well as Pequot Road, Maiden Lane, Plain Road and lower Main Street due to extensive flooding.
