ICYMI: Wayland's Memorial Day Parade, Festivities For 2018

WAYLAND, MA—It's one of the town's most beloved traditions, and it's coming up fast.

The Public Ceremonies Committee announced Wayland's Memorial Day program.
The parade forms at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 28, at the Wayland Middle School, 201 Main St. It then starts 11 a.m. and proceeds along Route 27 to Route 30 to the Lakeview Cemetery in Cochituate.

Here are the early morning ceremonies:
Brief Tributes to Veterans in each Cemetery
8:30 a.m. Ceremony at Veterans Memorial Town Building 8:50am. Ceremony at North Cemetery (Route 27 North)
9 a.m. Ceremony at Biet Olam West (Route 27 North) 9:15am. Ceremony at South Cemetery (Route 27 South)
9:45 a.m. Ceremony at Lokerville Green \M/Vll Memorial (Route 30 East) 10:00 am Ceremony at St. Zepherins Cemetery (Bent Ave)
11:30 a.m. Memorial Day Service at the Cemetery Master of Ceremonies Richard P Turner USN Retired Combat Vietnam Veteran.

ln the event of rain, the service will be held n the Middle School Gymnasium at 11 a.m. Outside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. if no change is made to the schedule due to weather.
