Learn More About the Open Space and Recreation Plan May 4

Community input will play a huge role in the plan's development.

WAYLAND, MA - Wayland residents are invited to learn more about the Open Space and Recreation Plan at a public meeting on Wednesday May 4.

The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Wayland Town Building at 41 Cochituate Road.

The Open Space and Recreation Plan will identify community needs and create a plan of action to improve recreational areas such as parks and conservation land.

The town's consultants will describe the Open Space and Recreation planning process and go over the plan's basic goals. There will also be time for questions and comments from the public.

"Community input is essential in order to develop a plan that best meets Wayland’s open space and recreation needs," officials wrote in the announcement.
