Meet And Greet With New Wayland Town Administrator
The new town administrator is coming board. Now's your chance to say hello.

WAYLAND, MA—The Wayland community is invited to meet new Town Administrator Louise Miller.
Drop by the Wayland Town Building on Monday, Oct. 1, from 10-11 a.m. to say hello and have a cup of coffee with the new head of the Wayland town government. Miller, who started officially on Sept. 10, was chosen by unanimous vote by the Board of Selectmen. She replaced the outgoing Nan Balmer, who did not renew her contract.
Miller was formerly the budget manager for the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority, and prior to that she worked in senior positions for the city of Medford.

A Needham resident, she's also volunteered extensively for the town, as she noted in her cover letter while applying for the position. Among her accomplishments: she launched the New Year's Eve celebration for Needham.
