
Wayland Police arrested a New Hampshire man on Oct. 4 after he fled police, according to Wayland Police.Â
Michael C. Cline, 36 of Freemont, N.H. is facing charges for driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, operating to endanger, a marked lanes violation and failure to stop for police. He is also charged with leaving the scene of a car crash (property damage).
At around 2:30 p.m., police received a report of a car driving erratically south on Route 126. An officer spotted the car and attempt to stop it, but the car fled south on Old Connecticut Path. The driver fled the car on Castle Road and into the woods. Police eventually located the driver in the woods and arrested him. He was later released on bail after appearing in court.
