No More Appointments To Visit Wayland Library

Starting June 14, the Wayland Free Public Library will be open as usual for the first time since the pandemic began.

WAYLAND, MA — For the first time in more than a year, Wayland residents will be able to walk right in to the town library.

After Memorial Day, the library began offering appointment-free visits during select days, and still required appointments for any computer use. But starting Monday, residents will be able to visit the Wayland Free Public Library whenever.

Some pandemic restrictions will still be in place: The library's children's room will remain closed, visits are limited to 45 minutes per person and all visitors must still wear a mask. Curbside pickup is still available for anyone who doesn't want to go inside the building.
