PHOTO GALLERY: Inaugural Pooch Parade Big Success
The first Pooch Parade and Festival, held by the Wayland and Weston Rotary Club, was a big success, and benefitted Buddy Dog in Sudbury.
At the Pooch Parade & Festival on May 16 on the Weston Town Green, pooches and their people had fun while learning together, said organizers.
The Pooch Parade & Festival ticket sales benefitted Buddy Dog Humane Society, Operation Delta Dog and the Animal Rescue League of Boston.
Presented by the Rotary Club of Weston and Wayland, the Pooch Parade was a celebratory walk that circled the Weston Town Green and past the Reviewing Stand where “celebrity” judges reviewed and applauded the pooches, and then presented amusing awards, said the announcement.
