Protect the kids at YMCA Camp Chickami Attend the ZBA hearing
Developer refuses to deliver a FEMA flood zone study
A developer, Steven Zieff, wants to build a huge apartment complex at the former site of Mahoney's Garden Center in Wayland. The property is in a FEMA A high risk flood zone and a short distance upstream from YMCA Camp Chickami -- where hundreds of kids play near Pine Brook every summer. Mr. Zieff recently REFUSED to provide the flood zone study our ZBA and Building Inspector asked for.
This would create a major public safety risk. Please attend the ZBA hearing on Tuesday night, 17 July, to support YMCA Camp Chickami and protect our kids. 7pm in the Wayland Town Building, large hearing room.
