Santa's Annual Ride Through Wayland (On A Fire Truck)
Even the grumpiest of us gets a kick on watching Santa whiz by on a fire truck.
WAYLAND, MA—Somehow, somewhere, Santa Claus hitching a ride around town on a fire truck became as traditional as riding around on his sleigh on Christmas Eve.
The Wayland Firefighter Association, for the 54th year, is toting Mr. Claus on one of its trucks Dec. 20-22 through the streets of Wayland.
No matter your age or level of grumpiness, it's pretty exciting to see the guy in the red suit whiz by in your neighborhood.
