School Committee Talks OML Complaints and More

A few things you need to know in Wayland on Aug. 1, 2013.

1. The Wayland School Committee will meet Thursday at 11 a.m. to continue discussions of four Open Meeting Law complaints its facing. Additional agenda topics include the superintendent's evaluation and other items.

2. "The Merchant of Venice" is back at Vokes Theater Thursday night for one more weekend set. Don't miss your chance to catch The Bard while he's in town.

3. Heads up. New speed tables have been added to Glezen Lane. 

4. ICYMI. Wayland's real estate market continues to show that buyers are will to pay more than asking; here's a sample of what sold in the past week.

5. Year of Wayland Trivia. In 1898, Warren G. Roby bequeathed a half acre of land next to his home and $25,000 to erect our current Wayland Library.
