Senior keeper Nicholas Smith made the diving save on the fifth attempt in a shootout to win the trophy in the state division finals, reports The Boston Globe. This is the third state title for the Wayland Warriors in three years, the last in 2016 when Wayland beat Nipmuc, 2-0.
