Wayland Library Opens Outdoor Internet Café
Now Wayland residents can check their email and other web business, and get some fresh air.

WAYLAND, MA — You can now use the internet at the Wayland Public Library — but don't forget your coat.
The library is now offering an outdoor internet café, one person at a time. Under the program, patrons can check out a laptop, and then sit at the tables outside the front door and surf the web on the library Wi-Fi network.
The Wayland library building has been closed for months due to coronavirus, but the outdoor internet café is one more way librarians are trying to keep service steady. The library has been offering online programs, including a trivia night and book groups, throughout the pandemic. To-go service has been in place since the beginning of the summer.
