Wayland Not Hit As Hard As Other Towns: Storm Riley
Wayland didn't catch the brunt of this one.

WAYLAND, MA—While a tree (pictured here) pulled some wires down on Woodridge Road on Friday, most of Wayland did not sustain major damage as compared to area towns, said Wayland police.
While a tree blocked Route 27 Sudbury and another blocked 126 in Lincoln, Wayland stood strong and occurred little road flooding and few power outages.
By noon on Saturday, there were 178,140 Eversource customers without power, with 14,388 out in Wareham, 8,857 in Bourne and 17,109 in Falmouth. National Grid at the same time reports 183,490 without power, 43,932 of those in Bristol County, 75,437 in Plymouth County and 46,612 in Norfolk County.
