Wayland Plans Annual Tree Lighting At Town Center

For many in town, it marks the beginning of the season. Officials have announced the plan for this popular annual tradition in Wayland.

WAYLAND, MA—Around these parts, when the lights go on the tree at the town center, that marks the beginning of the holiday season (not the shopping part, but the spirit part).

The annual Wayland tree lighting is planned for Friday, Nov. 30, at 4:30 p.m. to help kick off your weekend.

The event includes photos with Santa, holiday crafts, live music, food from the Chubby Chickpea Truck and hot chocolate from the Jackson Effie Coffee Cabin.
