Wayland PTOs Begin 2021 Drive With $30K Goal
The auction will fund a variety of school needs like teacher projects and recreational equipment.
WAYLAND, MA — The parent-teacher organizations (PTOs) from Claypit, Happy Hollow and Loker elementary schools kicked off a spring fundraiser this week, seeking to raise $30,000 for a variety of school needs.
Local businesses, teachers and Wayland residents are donating goods and services to be auctioned off through April 15. The items range from a ride to school in a Wayland police car to gift cards to local restaurants.
"Funds raised in this year's auction go directly toward next year's enrichment programs, teacher projects, classroom and recreational equipment needs, school socials, STEAM nights, Art shows, talent shows, field trips, and more!" the PTOs wrote in a fundraising appeal.
