Wayland Seeks Members For Superintendent Search Committee
Superintendent Arthur Unobskey is leaving Wayland in June. A search for his replacement is underway.

WAYLAND, MA — The Wayland School Committee is looking for members for a new board that will help with the selection of a new superintendent.
The district announced in May that Superintendent Arthur Unobskey will leave Wayland by June 2021. The new Superintendent Search Screening Committee will help screen applicants, and then recommend candidates to the Wayland School Committee. The screening work will take place between November and December.
Wayland is using the firm Future Management Systems to find candidates for the job. The school committee will ultimately pick his replacement.

The Wayland Townwide PTO will pick the parent members for the screening committee, which the school committee will select members from the community.
