Weston High School Senior Places 2nd In Shot For Life Challenge
The basketball player, who already scored 1,000 points for her high school team, came in second in the fundraiser event.

WESTON, MA—A basketball star at Weston High School placed second out of 14 girls in the Shot for Life Challenge, a contest in which 14 boys and 14 girls are chosen from the state - each player shooting 20 minutes of free throws, mid-range jumpers and three-pointers before a break.
Christina Costa took second place, just behind first place winner from Braintree Adriana Timberlake, who shot 75.2 percent, and Costa at 74.4 percent, reports Wicked Local Weston.

The A Shot For Life Challenge is a basketball event and a fundraiser, with the money raised by the ASFL Challenge benefitting brain cancer research at the Massachusetts General Hospital Dr. Curry Research Lab.
