WAYLAND, MA — Wayland has banned it outright, and Sudbury has, too. But about Milford, Natick, and Marlborough?

Whether you're for or against cannabis stores in Massachusetts, it can be hard to know if one is going to open in your town or city. But this week the Cannabis Control Commission released a new tool to help citizens get a grip on local rules on marijuana sales.

The new zoning tracker shows which towns allow marijuana stores, and whether delivery and social consumption are allowed. Only 12 municipalities across the state will have social consumption, which is a business that operates like a bar for cannabis — although no so-called "cannabis cafés" have opened yet.
