Your Guide: Frolic The Weekend Away at Wayland Town Beach

Sure the Wayland Town Beach is fun any summer day, but the Wayland Recreation Department has made plans to ensure this weekend is especially entertaining.

First things first: The cost.

If you aren't a beach tag holder, $5 per person for residents to enter the beach for the day; $10 per person for non-residents per day with a $40 family max.

Now onto the schedule:

Summer Concert at the Beach - On Saturday, Aug. 3 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., the Wayland Daddios will dig their toes into the sand to bring beachgoers live music as part of the Summer Concert at the Beach series.

Fun Day with the Staff - Then, on Sunday, Aug. 4, beachgoers are invited to join the Wayland Town Beach staff in an afternoon of fun and games. The fun takes place from 1 p.m.-4 p.m.

Boat rental - Did you know the Wayland Town Beach offers sailboat and kayak rental for tag holders? You must be over 18 and hold a valid driver's license. The cost to rent the boats is $15/hour.
