$1.8 Million Kroger Renovation To Be Unveiled In Troy

The first 400 customers at the grand re-opening event will get a $10 Kroger gift card. Here's a look at what the store will feature.

TROY, MI — After almost four months of renovation, Troy's Kroger store is almost ready to unveil its $1.8 million renovation. The grand re-opening is set for 6 a.m. Jan. 29 at 1237 Coolidge Highway.

The first 400 customers will get a reusable shopping tote containing a $10 Kroger gift card.

The newly remodeled 41,064-square-foot store features all new, upgraded decor and more conveniences, like a new deli and self-serve bakery, new shopping carts and self-scan equipment. During the grand re-opening, shoppers can explore the store’s new layout and amenities, sample food, and get specials all day long.

“We are so excited to share the store renovation with the Troy community during our Grand Re-Opening celebration,” said Michael McKenna, Troy Kroger store manager. “We hope that these updates will help create a positive shopping experience for our customers and that everyone will continue to enjoy them for years to come.”

Store hours are 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. daily, with pharmacy hours 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., weekdays; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays; and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sundays. The store also features an on-site pharmacy, open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
