1 Apple Valley School Taken Off DOH COVID Outbreak List, 1 Added
The total number of Apple Valley schools on the list remains at three.
APPLE VALLEY, MN— Three schools remain on the Minnesota Department of Health's list of schools that have had recent COVID-19 outbreaks.
Eastview High School was taken off the list Thursday. It had been on the list since April 29.
Southview Elementary School was added to the list Thursday.

The total number of Apple Valley schools on the list include:
- Southview Elementary School in Apple Valley
- Valley Middle School in Apple Valley
- Apple Valley Senior High in Apple Valley
25 total schools from Dakota County are on the list.

In order to be added to the Minnesota Department of Health's list, a school must report at least five cases of a student or staff member being inside the building while infectious and within the two-week reporting period, the department said.
If a school goes 28 days with no new cases, they are removed from the list, the department said.
The list is updated every Thursday, the department said.
