had 6 students chosen through statewide auditions as members of the 2013 all-state choir. Six is the maximum number of singers that are allowed to represent any one school in the all-state choir. AVHS has been represented by six singers only two previous years, in 1993 and in 2000. Those chosen are:
Alli Heuer- all-state mixed choir
Kellie Metzger-all -state mixed choir
