Frederick A. Wachter, age 78, of Apple Valley passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Jan. 27, 2013. Fred was born April 7, 1934 in St Paul MN to Fred and Marie (nee: Baumburger) Wachter.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandchildren, Kyle Lien, Fred Wachter and Christine Kasel and sister in law, Carol Wachter. Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Ruth (nee: Rainer) Wachter; children, Deborah (Larry) Stegmann, Marlene (Tim) Rezac, Fredrick Wachter and his significant other, Maureen; Judith Kasel, Linda (Kim) Podritz and Lisa (John) Brochmann; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter; siblings, Donald Wachter, Audrey (Norman) Trautman, Charles (Joan) Wachter and nieces, nephews other relative and friends.
Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Christ Church, 12925 Johnny Cake Ridge Rd., Apple Valley with visitation on Wednesday (1/30) from 4-8 PM at the White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Ave., Apple Valley, (952 432 2001) also 1 hr prior to service at church. Interment Acacia Cemetery, Mendota Heights, MN
