The Rosemount Irish Boys Lacrosse Prep (9/10) Team completed a fantastic 12-0 season last Saturday, May 19, in Hastings with two solid victories. The young Irish went into Saturday’s games with a 10-0 record, hoping to complete a perfect season. They did just that, and more, as they posted shut-out victories against Hastings Blue, 15-0, and then Eastview ‘B’, 16-0.
Their undefeated season earned Rosemount the #2 seed in the MBSLA Playoffs which begin Monday evening, May 21. In Round 1, the Irish will face-off against #15 Edina at the Northfield Middle School at 6:00 PM.
The Eastview ‘A’ Team also completed their MBSLA Reg. Season undefeated and earned the #1 seed because their season ‘goals for’ and ‘goals against’ record was slightly better than Rosemount’s. Prior Lake Navy earned the #3 seed as they finished the reg. season with only one loss and Prior Lake Gold is the #4 seed.

The Irish Varsity Team wrapped up their regular season last Friday night, May 18, with a 10-7 victory over Rochester Mayo. The night before, on Thursday, the Irish defeated Bloomington Kennedy, 16-4. With their 10-3 reg. season record, the Irish Varsity Team enters the MSHSL Sect. 3 Playoffs as the #3 seed, behind Eastview & Eagan, respectively. In Round 1, the Irish will face-off against #14 Hastings at 7:30 PM on Wednesday, May 23, at RHS Stadium.
