On July 26, the Valley Voices for Obama hosted a Potluck ‘n Politics gathering at Apple Valley’s Farquar Park to celebrate the kickoff of the countdown of the last 100 days of the 2012 Presidential campaign. Guest speakers included Hilary Thomson, Field Organizer for President Obama, and from Valley Voices, Judy Finger, Nika Davies, and Kathy Boyer.
Enthusiastic Obama supporters discussed the upcoming election, issues that concern them, and learned about how they could make a difference in the election by volunteering in addition to enjoying the delicious dishes provided by the attendees.
Members of Valley Voices are residents of Apple Valley and Rosemount, and Judy Finger is their Neighborhood Team Leader.
