Apple Valley Artist's Work To Be Sent To The Moon

APPLE VALLEY, MN— An Apple Valley artist's painting is being sent to the moon later this year, Sun Thisweek reported.

JuliAnne Jonker is one of 1,200 artists whose art is part of the Peregrine Collection, which will be sent to the moon as part of a time capsule, the publication reported.

The collection is made up of digitized art and literature, and will be sent to the moon via two microSD cards, the publication reported.

The delivery to the moon will be on its Lacus Mortis region, the publication reported.
