Apple Valley To Partially Refund Liquor Licenses
The City Council voted Thursday night to partially refund liquor licenses for restaurants in order to help businesses affected by COVID-19.
APPLE VALLEY, MN—Apple Valley's city council unanimously voted Thursday night to give a 50 percent refund of liquor licenses to businesses struggling during the pandemic for 2021.
The total amount being refunded to 26 restaurants and bars will be $59,250, and will equal 50 percent of the amount paid to the city in liquor licensing fees for 2021.
The refunds would help restaurants and bars, who aren't selling as much liquor due to restrictions on capacity.
