Diamond Path School Holding First Annual Wolf Run 5K
The run will help the school raise money for the fourth-grade class' annual field trip to Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center.
Diamond Path Elementary School in Apple Valley wants your help to send its fourth-grade class on a high-adventure trip to Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center.
On Sunday, May 19, the school is hosting its first annual Wolf Run 5K and Kid's Run event at Lebanon Hills Regional Park in Eagan. The event is a fundraiser for the annual class trip, and proceeds from the run will defer trip costs and fund scholarships for students unable to afford the excursion.
Every September, Diamond Path Elementary sends its entire fourth-grade class to Wolf Ridge for a four-day trip, according to Diamond Path parent and race co-organizer Caroline Lambert. The trip includes canoeing, ropes courses, rock-climbing and other activities.
