District 196 fourth and fifth graders show off their inventions at Eagan High School on the morning of Saturday, Jan. 14.
Students' inventions will be judged and awards announced.
The idea behind the fair is "to teach and encourage students to use creative problem-solving techniques and to bring creative ideas to reality through the medium of invention," according to the fair sponsors.
