Flooded Minnesota River Only 4 Feet From Power Lines: Photos

The Scott County Sheriff's Office is warning boaters to use "extreme caution."

The Scott County Sheriff's Office is warning boaters to use "extreme caution" around an electrical hazard on the Minnesota River near Belle Plaine. Power lines are now hanging approximately just four feet above the flooded river.

"This a very real danger to boaters as the power lines are very difficult to see," authorities said.
