Girl Scout Cookie Season in Full Swing

Numerous locations offering cookies today; season ends March 17.

It may seem hard to believe with this much snow on the ground, but the start of spring--and the end of Girl Scout cookie season--is less than a month away.

Fortunately, there are all sorts of places to get your cookie fix in today. Among the Apple Valley locations where cookies are being sold: Dunn Bros., 15265 Galaxie Ave., from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., Bruegger's Bagels, 7745 150th St. W., 9 a.m. to noon, and Rainbow Foods, 15125 Cedar Ave., 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

All the usual cookies are available this year, with one addition. Savannah Smiles, a crisp lemony cookie, has been introduced to celebrate 100 years of Girl Scouting.
