ROSEMOUNT, MN — A man is fighting for his life after a crash involving a FedEx truck in Rosemount Thursday. The collision occurred on eastbound Highway 55 near Pine Bend Trail just before 6:20 p.m.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the FedEx truck and a Harley Davidson motorcycle were both heading east on Highway 55. Then the truck appeared to be attempting to make a U-turn.

The motorcycle, trying to avoid rear-ending the truck — which had slowed — attempted to pass on the left. Contact was made in the apex as the truck attempted the U-turn, police said.
