Minnesota Weather: Snow, Then Possible Flooding
Snowmelt will increase flood potential this week. Some rivers may climb to flood stage.
TWIN CITIES, MN — The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central Minnesota, including Hennepin, Ramsey, Dakota, and Washington County. The newest spring storm will bring wet snow Wednesday evening. Snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are possible
Snowmelt will increase flood potential this week. Some rivers may climb to flood stage. A flood warning has already been issued for the Redwood River near Redwood Falls.
Don't drive cars through flooded areas. Remember, "turn around, don't drown."

Wednesday: A chance of drizzle and snow before 2 p.m., then a slight chance of drizzle. Cloudy, with a high near 36. North wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
