Critics love to describe the Minnesota State Capitol as a political "zoo."

But on March 21, the legislative chambers resembled the real thing, as the Minnesota Zoo, lobbying for $11 million in bonding to renovate exhibits, brought a host of unusual animals to St. Paul as part of "Zoo Day".
