Police: Teen Threatened to Post Nude Photos of 15-Year-Old Online
Police say Deuvontay Shelby Charles, 18, told a female female victim he would post the photos on Facebook if she refused to have sex with him.

An 18-year-old Minneapolis teen faces criminal charges after Apple Valley police say he convinced a 15-year-old to send him sexually-explicit photos, then threatened to post the photos online.
Deuvontay Shelby Charles was charged with one felony count of solicitation of a child to engage in sexual conduct and one felony count of solicitation of a minor to engage in sexual conduct, according to a criminal complaint filed by the Dakota County Attorney's Office. If convicted on the first charge, he could face a maximum of three years in prison and $5,000 in fines.
Apple Valley police were contacted on Jan. 29 and spoke with a 15-year-old girl, who told officers she sent several nude photos of herself to Charles. After receiving the first photos, police say Charles asked for more sexually explicit photographs.

Charles then asked the girl to have sex with him, and threatened to post the photos on Facebook and Instagram if she didn't comply, according to the complaint.
