Joe Timlin, 32, was one of five victims claimed by the avalanche, which occurred on Saturday at Loveland Pass.

A Rosemount High School graduate was among five people killed during an avalanche in Colorado on Saturday, according to a Kare 11 report.
Joe Timlin, 32, was born in Wisconsin and graduated from Rosemount in 1999 the report said. He was one of six experienced snowboarders caught in a Saturday afternoon avalanche at Loveland Pass in Colorado. The avalanche, which was 600 yards wide and eight feet deep, was likely triggered by the snowboarders themselves, according to Clear Creek County Sheriff Don Krueger, who was quoted in an Associated Press report.
One of the snowboarders, Jerome Boulay, survived the incident and was later dug out by rescuers, according to a report in the Denver Post.
