"Rosemount Police are aware of an incident involving a youth that occurred on the morning of October 5 in Rosemount. This incident has been investigated and it has been determined that there was no risk to the child or the community. Please know that if at any time we determine that the community is at risk, RPD will notify those affected using social media, text alerts, news outlets and other forms of communication to keep you safe and informed. We commend the youth for notifying an adult and eventually getting the police involved so we could help resolve the matter and ensure public safety. Do not hesitate to call "911" when you have a concern; we are here for you!
