Soggy? Sunny (Hot!) Sunday Could Salvage Outdoor Weekend Plans

There's still a good chance for more sogginess and storms continuing into Saturday night for and Dakota County. 

And then comes the heat.

You should have plenty of chances to fire up the grill on Sunday and enjoy the outdoors for Memorial Day Weekend. Of course, with temperatures forecast in the 90s, you might want to grill in the shade and have a cooler of frosty beverages nearby as well.

Tonight: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. Southeast wind between 8 and 11 mph. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. 

Sunday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Some of the storms could be severe. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. Breezy, with a south wind between 10 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
