2nd Eagan School Added To DOH Coronavirus Outbreak List

The first school has been on the list since March 11, meaning it is eligible to be removed once COVID-19 cases go down.

EAGAN, MN— Two Eagan schools are on the Minnesota Department of Health's COVID-19 breakout list, the department reported Thursday.

Eagan High School has reported a recent outbreak of COVID-19, the department said.

Red Pine Elementary School was added to the list March 11.

To be added to the list, a school must report at least five cases of a student or staff member being inside the building while infectious within the two-week reporting period, the department said.

In order to be removed from the list, the schools need to go 28 days without reporting a new case, the department said.

16 total school in Dakota County are present on the departments list.

The list is updated weekly on Thursdays.
