3rd Eagan School Added To DOH Coronavirus Outbreak List

The schools are eligible to be removed from the list once they go 28 days without reporting any new cases.

EAGAN, MN— Three Eagan schools are on the Minnesota Department of Health's COVID-19 breakout list, the department reported Thursday.

Pilot Knob STEM Magnet School has reported a recent outbreak of COVID-19, the department said.

Eagan High School was added to the list Apr. 22 and Red Pine Elementary School was added to the list March 11.

To be added to the list, a school must report at least five cases of a student or staff member being inside the building while infectious within the two-week reporting period, the department said.

In order to be removed from the list, the schools need to go 28 days without reporting a new case, the department said.

22 total school in Dakota County are present on the departments list.

The list is updated weekly on Thursdays.
