Ambassadors learn about Assistance Dogs

Eagan Funfest Ambassador update from Kari

Hello everyone!

This is Kari Giles here again with my second blog as an Eagan Ambassador. It’s been a busy couple of weeks for us. We’ve been to several parades, traveled to events like llama races in Wisconsin and even volunteered at Holtz Farm here in Eagan for Lone Oak days. It has been a blast! For my blog, I would like to share our latest adventure with you all.

This last Saturday the Ambassadors and I had the privilege of driving up to New Hope, Minnesota to watch a Can Do Canines Graduation ceremony. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Can Do Canines it is a wonderful non-profit organization that fosters and trains dogs and give them to help people with special needs live better lives. Our own Mike Ferber even fostered a beautiful black poodle named Fred for Can Do Canines and we got to watch him graduate and be given to his new owner. To see all those dogs make their new owners smile was an amazing experience because one kind act made each person’s life brighter and easier. We even got to take a picture with Fred and his new owner which was one of all my fellow Ambassadors favorite parts.
