Annual Trail Improvement Project Begins in Eagan
Trails selected for maintenance will be getting attention between now and mid-October.
The city of Eagan's annual trail improvement project began earlier this week.
Trails are evaluated each year and given a score based on age and condition. Those with the poorest ratings are scheduled for maintenance, including resurfacing, according to a news release.
Eagan has about 130 miles of trails and sidewalks, including trails that eventually connect to Harriet Island in downtown St. Paul, Fort Snelling State Park, and Minnehaha Park.
