If you're curious about commuting around Minneapolis, an open house is scheduled for next Thursday to discuss plans that will affect car, train and bike commuters.
The I-35W Transit Access Plan aims to integrate freeway mobility and local access, and also improve the bridges and highway, both of which are old. Another goal is to improve bicycle and pedestrian connections.
A public open house will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 19 at the Whittier Community Center, 425 26th St. West. This will be an opportunity for the public to provide comments on current design concepts and learn about next steps in the design process. The topics include:
