Blotter: Shoplifters Steal $1,200 of Nail Polish from an Eagan Store
In a separate incident, an Eagan homeowner found a trespasser sleeping in his closet. That and more on the most recent Eagan police reports.

A pair of shoplifters stole $1,200 of "Sensational Nail Gel Polish" from an Eagan business on March 24, according to the latest edition of the Eagan police reports.
Police responded to a theft call just before 3 p.m. from a business on the 1200 block of Town Centre Dr. The caller said two women entered the store and made off with a prodigious amount of nail polish.

March 20
5:11 p.m.—Police responded to a four car crash on the corner of Lexington Avenue and Northwood Parkway in Eagan. Two drivers suffered minor injuries in the accident, which began when one driver rear-ended another.

March 22
7:07 a.m.—Police responded to a car vs. pedestrian accident at the corner of Duckwood Dr. and Pilot Knob Rd. The female pedestrian was conscious and breathing when police arrived, but told officers she had lower back pain. The pedestrian was crossing Duckwood in the middle of the block, and was not using a crosswalk. She suffered minor injuries.
10:42 a.m.—Police responded to a car accident along Interstate 35E near Yankee Doodle Road. Three were injured in the accident and one person was transported to Regions Hospital. One person was cited by police following the crash.
9:59 p.m.—Police responded to a suspicious person call at the Blackhawk Park and Ride facility. Officers discovered a car parked in an odd location near the facility. The occupants of the vehicle told police they were checking for directions on a GPS unit, because they didn't want to be distracted while driving. Police arrested a woman on an outstanding warrant.
11:05 p.m.—Police responded to a shoplifting call at a retailer on the 1300 block of Town Centre Dr. Investigators arrested two men for stealing merchandise from the store, then discovered approximately $1,300 in stolen goods from another retailer in the suspects' car.
March 23
1:53 a.m.—Police responded to a criminal sexual conduct call on the 4500 block of Slater Rd.
2:35 a.m.—Police responded to a suspicious person call at the corner of Northwood Parkway and Pilot Knob Road. The caller told police that a vehicle was stopped at the intersection with its brake lights on, and that the driver was slumped over in the car. Police arrested one man on suspicion of a DWI.
11:37 a.m.—Police responded to a trespassing call on the 4100 block of Nicols Rd. The caller told police that a young man broke into his house overnight and was found sleeping in a closet. The suspect is a friend of the victim's grandson. The caller told police the man was not welcome in the house.
11:42 a.m.—Police responded to a fire call on the 2800 block of Sibley Hills Dr. The caller told police a dryer was on fire, and that smoke was emanating from the appliance. Emergency responders doused the flames.
7:16 p.m.—Police responded to a criminal sexual conduct call at the 3000 block of Eagandale Place.
10:33 p.m.—Police responded to a suspicious person call on the 4300 block of Pilot Knob Rd. The caller told police that there were several people outside knocking on the door. The door knockers claimed they had been robbed at gunpoint. Police arrived and spoke with the visitors, who said they were walking along Pilot Knob when a car pulled up and a man stepped out with a handgun pointed at them. The suspected demanded the victims' cell phones, but all of the boys ran from the area.
March 24
1:08 p.m.—Police responded to a domestic call on the 4500 block of Villa Parkway. The caller, an 18-year-old girl, told police her parents were both heavily intoxicated and were threatening to kick her out of the home. The girl also told police that she was supposed to be at work, but that her father had taken her car keys. She was barricaded inside her room.
March 25
8:23 a.m.—Police responded to an assault call on at Black Hawk Middle School.
8:23 a.m.—Police responded to a drug activity call at Black Hawk Middle School.
8:25 a.m.—Police responded to a criminal sexual conduct call on the 1300 block of High Site. Dr.
3:14 p.m.—Police responded to a drug activity call on the 3500 block of Lexington Ave. The caller told police that residents of her apartment complex sold her grandson marijuana, and that the boy had been caught with the drugs while attending Black Hawk Middle School.
March 26
1:06 p.m.—Police responded to an assault call on the 4000 block of Camberwell Dr. N. The caller told police he was just assaulted by a male at a residence. The caller told police the man choked and pushed the reporting party, and that the man had a history of methamphetamine use. The man was charged with felony strangulation and fifth-degree domestic assault.
5:24 p.m.—Police responded to a theft call on the 900 block of Lone Oak Rd. The caller told police someone attempted to cut out a catalytic convertor from a truck parked at the back of a business.
